A handful of Facebook ads pointed at a lead form. No logo, no website, no pitch deck. $2,000 in ad spend. $1.2 million in estimates sent. $110,000 closed. Not great close rate, but the market existed. That was the only question we were answering.
Paving marketing.
Your phone, ringing.
15+ qualified paving inquiries every month, or we work free.
Asphalt paving, sealcoating, lot striping. Every call tracked back to the listing that produced it. Built by Ryan + Patrick. Same partnership and same play that built a $5M roofing business on inbound calls only. Reimagined for paving. One paving contractor per state.
- $1.14Mbilled · 12 mo
- 217tracked calls · 15 mo
- 36/46keywords top 3
- $5,255avg per call
Phone calls went from 4 in December to 38 in March. And I don't have to think about SEO once.
You're running a paving company on Google Earth and Word.
Stop.
Most pavers don't have a real software stack. They have a mess. Hot Mix HQ replaces all of it.
Paving company SEO isn't plumbing SEO.
Most agencies run the same playbook for plumbers, pest control, and pavers. They can't tell a sealcoat call from a resurface. And the side that actually pays the rent — sealcoat, lot striping, repeat commercial — was never built into the system they sold you.
Patrick runs the crews in Madison, MS. Ryan runs the systems remote. Same partnership behind a $5M roofing build, reimagined for paving.
More on paving marketing for paving contractors and what makes the Hot Mix Method paving-only.
Generic agency
- × Locks you in 12 months before the first lead.
- × Same playbook they sell to plumbers and pest control.
- × Bills per keyword, not per call closed.
- × Sends a 40-page report nobody reads.
Hot Mix Method
- ✓ Built around paving only. Sealcoat, resurface, lot striping, install.
- ✓ Tracks every call back to the listing that produced it.
- ✓ 15+ qualified inquiries/month guaranteed, rolling 180 days, or we work free.
- ✓ Month-to-month after 90 days. Cancel anytime.
PavePro is client zero.
Here is how it happened.
Patrick and I were running a general contracting business. Paving looked interesting, but keyword volume was too thin to justify building a brand first. So we ran the cheapest test we could and let the market answer.
We did not own paving equipment yet and our crew had never operated a roller. So we did what the money let us do. We hired the closed jobs out to an experienced contractor, Patrick and our guys came along, and we learned as the jobs got done. A month later PavePro had its own crew, its own brand, and the first version of what became the Hot Mix Method.
We were not winging it. Patrick and I had already run this exact play in roofing for three years, ending at $25 million in closed revenue. Paving was the next vertical. Same lead engine, same ranking system, different trade vocabulary. The system did not need to be invented. It needed to be translated.
December 2025 we knew. #1 across central Mississippi. When spring hit, the phones rang like nothing we had seen. The system was ready. The Hot Mix Method is what came out of it, now packaged for 30 to 45 more paving contractors this year. One per state. First to commit gets the state.
15+ qualified paving inquiries every month.
Guaranteed.
$995 setup (was $4,995). $2,995/mo starts Day 30.
What's included
Built around asphalt paving + sealcoating + lot striping. Not a generic contractor template.
- The website itself. The last marketing site you'll ever need. Built as the backbone of your company. A steady flow of leads, month after month. Yours to keep.
- The Hot Mix Engine. SEO in 3 lifts. Google Ads pointed at your Google Business Profile for map-pack placement. Meta retargeting. Direct mail. We run them. You run the crew.
- Hot Mix HQ. Two pipelines, 74 paving-specific fields. AI answers when you can't. We measure the lot on your phone and send the estimate before you leave. When it rains we move the job and tell the customer. Postcards to the 50 nearest neighbors after every job. Day 30 / 60 / 90 referral follow-up.
- The Phone-Ringing Promise. 15+ qualified paving inquiries every month, averaged over rolling 180 days, starting Day 60. If we miss, we work free until we hit it.
- Founding 5 lock. $4,000 off setup. First 5 paving contractors only. After that, $4,995.
30 days to build. System live Day 30. Phone-ringing guarantee opens Day 60.
- Day 0 Sign + $995 setup collected Build phase begins. GBP rebuild, citation sweep, Google Ads account structure, and site framing all start the same week.
- Day 30 System live · $2,995/mo retainer begins Site published. GBP optimized. 40 citations submitted. Google Ads live and spending against your $500/mo floor. Lead capture wired to your branded Hot Mix HQ.
- Day 60 Lead guarantee window opens Ads have been running 30 days. Organic SEO is moving. Your CRM is filling with qualified inquiries. The 180-day rolling measurement clock starts now.
- Day 240 First full 180-day measurement 180 days of data. Your monthly qualified-inquiry average must be 15 or higher. If it's below, we work free every month until the rolling average clears 15 again.
Why the gap between Day 30 retainer and Day 60 guarantee window: Google Ads need 30 days running to produce measurable lead volume. We don't measure the guarantee until the ads have been alive long enough to mean something. Day 30 to Day 60 is active ramp: ad optimization, SEO compounding, GBP posting, monitoring. You're paying retainer for ongoing work, not future work.

What we did for PavePro.
What we'll do for yours.

It took PavePro from invisible on Google to $1,140,352 billed in 12 months, 217 tracked Google calls in 15 months, and 36 of 46 paving keywords inside the top 3 — every call worth $5,255 in pipeline. No paid ads. No door knocking. Same system is now available to paving contractors at $995 founding setup + $2,995/mo.

Central Mississippi, every term.
By December, PavePro owned the map pack across Brandon, Madison, Jackson, Hattiesburg, Ridgeland, and Pearl. Not close. Patrick and I both knew it. The system had cured.
The phone rang like we had never seen.
Season turned. Driveway searches spiked. The GBP, the service pages, the call tracking, the schema, all cured, all in position. PavePro closed more in the first week of spring than most pavers close in a month.
Every number on this page is a row in a spreadsheet.
Pulled from PavePro's actual Serped rank tracker, CallRail call log, and website form submissions. No mockups, no stock dashboards.

Exclusive paving leads. One paving contractor per state.
First 5 paving contractors get $995 setup instead of $4,995 — a $4,000 discount. 4 founding seats open today.
Every paving lead in your state is yours. Most paving contractors run on referrals and word of mouth, completely uncontrolled. When work slows down, there's nothing to do but wait for the phone to ring. We pick the first paver in a state, lock them, and rank that one name at #1. Why one paving contractor per state matters walks it in full. Mississippi is held by PavePro (Madison, MS area). 49 states are open right now.
One exception: if the locked client only services part of the state, they can approve a second paver in a market they don't work.
$2,995 a month. Paid back in one driveway.
One monthly fee. No tiers. Back-of-receipt math.
Less than $100 a day. One residential driveway covers the month. One small commercial lot covers the quarter. Month-to-month after the first 90 days. No tiers. No upsells. Ad spend is pass-through.
Get my free auditOne residential driveway covers the month. Sealcoat leads run smaller but close faster.
One HOA driveway, one church lot, or one strip-center repair covers the quarter.
One extra driveway every two months pays for the year. Two extra per month and you are profitable inside the first quarter.
Questions paving contractors ask.

01Pricing & guarantee
What does Hot Mix actually cover?
Everything that takes a paving company from a Google search to a final-paid invoice. The website itself on your own domain, SEO, Google Ads pointed at your Google Business Profile for map-pack placement, Meta retargeting, direct mail. Hot Mix HQ, the software hub, runs the rest: AI receptionist, AI follow-up, measure the lot on your phone, send the estimate before you leave, deposit collection, when it rains we move the job and tell the customer for you, we mail postcards to the 50 nearest neighbors after every job, referral cadence. Founding 5 price is $995 setup (was $4,995), collected in full Day 0. $2,995 a month starts Day 30 when your system goes live. Ad spend is $500/mo floor, paid direct to Google.
Are there setup fees or hidden costs?
Founding 5 setup is $995 (a $4,000 discount off the standard $4,995). Collected in full on signing (Day 0). Build phase runs 30 days. Monthly $2,995 begins Day 30 when your system goes live. Ad spend is $500/mo floor, paid direct to Google. That's the whole stack. No per-keyword charges. No per-lead charges. No upsells.
Can I pause if I have a slow month?
Month-to-month after the first 90 days. Pause or cancel any time after that. We do not recommend it. SEO compounds. If you pause at day 120, your competitor starts closing the gap on day 121. We will tell you that before you stop.
What if the Hot Mix Method does not work?
Starting Day 60, your phone rings with 15+ qualified paving inquiries every month, averaged over any rolling 180-day window. Qualified means the caller is in your defined service area and asking for a quote. If your rolling 180-day average drops below 15, we keep working free every month until it clears 15 again. In writing on the contract.
What is the Founding 5?
The first 5 paving contractors to sign with Hot Mix get the founding price: $995 setup instead of $4,995 — a $4,000 discount. After the first 5, setup is $4,995. One paving contractor per state. Mississippi is locked. 4 founding seats open today.
What if my state is already taken?
We tell you up front. One exception: if the locked client only services part of the state, they can approve a second paver in a market they do not work. Fill the form and we will check.
02Timeline & results
How long until I see asphalt paving leads?
First Google Ads click hits Day 30 when ads go live. First inbound calls between days 30 and 60. The lead guarantee window opens Day 60. The first 180-day rolling measurement closes Day 240. Most clients are well above the 15-qualified-inquiry floor by month 4 or 5.
What should I expect in month 1?
Quiet. Lift 1 is foundation: GBP rebuild, citation cleanup, on-page fixes, schema. You will not see rankings climb yet because we are setting the ground you rank on. By end of month 1 the foundation is cured. Month 2 is when movement starts.
Why is Day 60 the start of the guarantee window?
Google Ads need 30 days running to produce measurable lead volume. We don't measure the guarantee until the ads have been alive long enough to mean something. Day 30 to Day 60 is active ramp: ad optimization, SEO compounding, GBP posting, monitoring. You're paying retainer for ongoing work, not future work. Day 60 onward the rolling 180-day window is open.
How will I know it is working?
Month 1: weekly progress notes, no rankings yet, building the foundation. Month 2: site live, ads spending, first rankings move, first Google calls come through your tracked number. Month 3: inquiries accumulating in your CRM. Month 6 (Day 180): rolling 180-day window halfway full. Month 8 (Day 240): first full 180-day measurement, qualified-inquiry average should be 15 or higher.
03Vs. ads & other agencies
I tried SEO before and got nothing. Why is this different?
We pick paving keywords that close jobs. "Asphalt paving contractor near me." "Sealcoating [your town]." Driveway paving. Parking lot striping. That is the work. Not "101 asphalt facts" blog posts.
How is this different from running Google Ads?
Ads stop when you stop paying. SEO compounds. Ads is a faucet. SEO is a well. Most of our clients run both, but only one of them keeps producing when the budget tightens.
Why not just hire a local marketing agency that knows my town?
A paving marketing agency that only works with pavers is different from a generalist that runs the same calendar for their plumber, pest-control, and roofing clients. Commercial vs residential matters. Sealcoat vs resurface vs new install matters. Local generalist agencies have to know every trade. We only know one, paving.
Other agencies say they can do paving. Why does paving-only matter?
Paving-only means we already know what a sealcoat lead looks like versus a resurface or a new install. We already know which 40 citations move the needle in construction instead of retail. We already know how commercial property managers buy versus homeowners. It is the difference between a generic SEO package and a system that closes paving jobs. If you want to see how I rank Hot Mix against the other paving marketing options, I ranked the top 7 paving marketing agencies in 2026 here.
What if the Google algorithm changes and my rankings drop?
The Hot Mix Method does not rely on loopholes, so algorithm updates do not crash your rankings. When Google shifts, we adjust inside the same system. We have held PavePro through three major updates since launch without a ranking drop.
04Paving-industry specific
What about seasonality? We do not pave year-round.
SEO ranks year-round. You don't turn it off in winter; it keeps compounding so when spring hits, you're already #1. Where seasonality shows up is the rolling 180-day measurement: your December dip is averaged against your June peak, so both balance out. The guarantee is built to absorb seasonality.
Sealcoating leads and resurface leads are different. How do you handle both?
Separate service pages, separate call-tracked numbers, separate pipelines in your reporting. Sealcoat calls close fast and small. Resurface and new-install calls close slower and bigger. We track both so you see what is working, and we build content that targets each intent separately.
Can you help with commercial leads (parking lots, HOAs) vs residential driveways?
Yes. Different pages, different keywords, different schemas. "Parking lot resurfacing [city]" is a different page from "driveway paving [city]" because the intent and the ticket size are different. The Hot Mix Method builds out both if you service both.
What about the referral leads I already get? Will SEO cannibalize those?
SEO adds to referral leads, it does not replace them. Referrals still come in the same way they always did. SEO brings in the leads your referrals do not, specifically people who need paving done but do not know anyone to call. Your phone does both.
